Using the United States Bill of Rights as its inspiration, this charter represents the spirit we hope to engender – a robust, diverse and civil society working toward a more perfect online community. We will start with a universal Bill of Rights, but with your contributions we can develop more richness and detail as it applies to any culture, language, industry, and kind of online community.
